KSF Wins Poster Award at the EpiGenRare Conference
Dr. Clara Tang, Director of Research, represented the Kabuki Syndrome Foundation (KSF) at the Rare Disease Research UK 1st EpiGenRare Conference, hosted by the Manchester Rare Conditions Centre. This global event brought together leading researchers, healthcare professionals, and patient advocates to discuss advancements in rare epigenetic disorders like Kabuki syndrome. The gathering fostered collaboration and innovation in the field while highlighting both emerging challenges and promising breakthroughs.
KSF was selected to present a poster featuring the methods and preliminary findings from our recent community survey on impactful symptoms and treatment preferences. With input from over 250 community members, this survey provides valuable insights that will guide KSF’s funding decisions and help shape future clinical and scientific efforts tailored to the needs of those affected by Kabuki syndrome.
We are thrilled to share that KSF’s research received one of the ‘best submitted poster abstract’ awards at the EpiGenRare Conference, further validating the importance of our community-driven initiatives. This recognition not only brought attention to Kabuki syndrome but also emphasized the critical role of patient-centered treatment development.
We look forward to diving further into the survey results later this year. Stay tuned for updates by signing up below!
