Medical and Scientific Advisory Board member, Dr. Jacqueline Harris consulted with the show to ensure its representation of Kabuki syndrome was authentic and thoughtful.

We are so thankful to Dr. Harris and her brother Adam Scott Weissman, one of the writers for The Good Doctor. Spreading awareness of Kabuki syndrome on this platform will help educate the community on Kabuki syndrome research and the importance of patient involvement.

Mathew, a Texas native, traveled to Vancouver, British Columbia for two weeks of filming with The Good Doctor cast. He memorized his lines, worked with professional actors, and wants to continue advocating for Kabuki Syndrome awareness and research.
