9 Potential Treatments Identified, $700,000 in New Grants – KSF Impact Report
The Kabuki Syndrome Foundation (KSF) is proud to share our 2024 impact report, a reflection of our collaborative efforts and a call to action for the journey ahead. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for individuals and families affected by Kabuki syndrome. You are invited to explore the milestones we’ve achieved and the goals we’re striving to meet in treatment development.
Transformative Investments in Research
KSF has committed $2.4 million to a diverse portfolio of therapeutic strategies, maximizing the chances of finding effective treatments for Kabuki syndrome. In 2024 alone, KSF awarded $700,000 in new research grants aimed at unlocking healthier futures for those impacted by Kabuki syndrome. These investments are not just numbers — they represent hope, progress, and the relentless pursuit of breakthroughs for everyone impacted by Kabuki syndrome.
The Power of Community
Nine potential treatments for Kabuki syndrome are now in development. However, inadequate funding is the greatest obstacle to advancing these treatments into clinical trials. With your help, two clinical trials could begin as early as the end of 2026. Raising $5 million could fund a clinical trial for one treatment as soon as next year, bringing us closer to transformative therapies that can improve lives.
